State of the dancer #1

What is is like to be a dancer in 2016 in the Netherlands? This was the main question during the afternoon in Korzo organised by the Omscholingsregeling on December 15. Davide Cocchiara and Sacha Steenks told their side of this story and a panel consisting of Johan Cuperus, Ingetje Wielenga, Peter van den Bunder and Eva Villanueva discussed the unclear position of freelance dancers now that the wet deregulering beoordeling arbeidsrelaties (Assessment of Employment Relationships (deregulations) Act) is postponed.
In the coming weeks we will report on this inspiring and current event. Today we start with Davide Cocchiara's State of the dancer. Definitely worth sitting down for:

Testimonial

"When as a dancer it is time for a change, a lot of feeling of insecurity arises. The Omscholingsregeling gave me financial support and self confidence to face these new challenges." (Jérôme Meyer)
