Refund of study costs

In order to be eligible for a refund of study costs, a dancer must have paid a minimum of 48 premiums within 5 years. If a dancer thinks it is possible to prepare for retraining during their dancing career already, they can apply to do so. In this case, an application can be made for taking a course. The maximum amount that can be refunded in this situation is € 10,000.

Study costs

Study costs include the cost of books, registration fees, course fees, materials and travel expenses, etc. These costs are refunded in whole. Sometimes, a course can involve costs that do not arise directly from the course itself, but which can nevertheless be necessary; for example, the purchase of special educational tools. In such cases, these costs can be eligible for a refund to a maximum of 60%.

"When as a dancer it is time for a change, a lot of feeling of insecurity arises. The Omscholingsregeling gave me financial support and self confidence to face these new challenges." (Jérôme Meyer)
